Ruckus in the Muckus

Ruckus in the Muckus is Alaska’s PREMIER obstacle course mud run, 2km and 5km. A challenge to be conquered by all ages, designed with the help of our local military hero. With the profits benefiting the Warriors in Transition Unit and Birch Hill’s Trail Maintenance Fund. Fairbanks race will be held Saturday, May 25.

Golf Scramble

Driven to Move Golf Scramble benefits our local Special Olympians. With the first day being an event with the Special Olympians teamed up with Elite athletes of Alaska at the Golf Course and followed with a BBQ. Day two is the charity golf scramble followed by a catered lunch where participants receive a gift bag, opportunity for door prizes, Hole-in-one prizes, longest drive, closest to pin, and awards to the top teams. A great day where everyone leaves with a smile!

Clinics

Clinics are two day programs for kids ages 10 and up thru adults. The program introduces participants to goal-setting in the first day then helps them develop their goals the second. The activities range from motivational talks, nutrition/hydration info, recovery/injury prevention, cross-training activities to maximize development of the WHOLE person, and a WHOLE lot fun in 2 days!

School Programs

Kids on the Move after-school programs are for school age kids 4th grade and up. 6 weeks in length meeting anywhere from 1 to 3 times week. Students are introduced to the goal-setting process and over the course of the 6 weeks learn important practices to enhance their development as a healthy person. Most importantly learn to measure themselves on their own progress and rewarded for their hard work and mindful practice.

Kids on the Run

A running club that puts goals into actions, get out on the trails and on the track twice a week with kids during the summer months of June and July. Each participant learns to track their progress and set their daily practice in line with what will produce a strong sense of DRIVE to achieve.
