The Alaskan summer leaves no time for too much down time, so after the RUCKUS, we’re heading to beautiful DOWNTOWN Fairbanks!
The Alaska Brain Injury Network will be present to advocate helmet safety and concussion awareness. PLUS our race Marshall, SAUL RAISIN, retired pro tour cyclist and founder of RAISIN HOPE Foundation will be there to run the race to world-class perfection and in between sign his book TOUR DE LIFE (if you need inspiration, get a copy!) http://raisinhope.ning.com/
Saturday, June 9th, NOON for the kids races, followed by a community and costume races, then at 2pm the Tour of Fairbanks comes downtown with the best riders throughout the state!

The Downtown Association is having a festival in the Sadler’s parking lot for spectators to enjoy the day outside with their families while watching and participating in their FIRST bike race or hundredth. Village opens at 10am!!!
The race: Half-mile loop (between 4th and 5th, Lacey and Barnette)
8and under: 1lap
Community and costume race: 10laps
45 min. + 1 lap Open/expert Men
30 min. + 1 lap others (women, masters, sport)
